Self Service Procedures for your Dell EMC Product

There is a little known tool for customers to create Dell EMC procedures that are built to best practice specifications called SolVe Online (Yes, the “V” is capitalized for some reason 😉 ). SolVe Online is a great tool for walking you through how to do a task and have KB articles and things to lookout for before/during/after you do the procedure.

There are 6 tabs total. One tab for creating procedures and five other tabs that provide additional information about your system.

All Products
The starting point for all Dell EMC product procedures where you pick a product and that kicks off the procedure generator wizard.

My Content
This tab saves the last 10 procedures that you’ve created.

Advisories
A listing of important Technical and Security advisories for your specific product. You can sign up for Service 360 to email you the latest advisories, but if you need to go back and see any that you may have missed… this is the place.

Top Service Topics
Top Service Topics tab is as it sounds, lists the latest top service topics that may be of interest to you as well.

Tools & Forms
Customer Replaceable Unit Videos, Dell EMC Community link, Troubleshooting tools download, link to Online Support, SolVe Desktop which is a exe that can be installed on your desktop to do the same thing.

Support
The important area on this tab is the Changes for Product Releases which catalogs what has changed for your product and also a place to download the latest Release Notes.
