Hello Red Hat Enthusiasts. Thank you for such a fun 2023! What a great time we had at the Red Hat Summit Connect in downtown Sacramento this past October. We had an awesome turn-out. In 2023 we did a number of Ansible hands-on workshops and we’ll look to introduce new topics for both Ansible and OpenShift in the next few months. Also, more in-person events are in the works for Sacramento and I’ll advertise those as they are released. My favorite thing of 2023 was to hear about how a number of agencies have modernized applications on OpenShift Container Platform and combined on-prem and cloud application deployments. We REALLY want to thank you all for your participation and partnership in 2023 and we look forward to an exciting 2024.

Additional Resources:
Run your VMs on OpenShift, side-by-side with your containerized workloads
Run VM’s the cloud native way
OpenShift Virtualization enables VMs to be defined as code and treated as cloud-native objects. VMs share the same API as containers, allowing them to be seamlessly integrated into CI/CD processes. This flexibility enables a mix of VMs and containers in CI/CD pipelines, and Tekton can execute tasks on both VMs and containers within a single pipeline. This approach, whether sequential or parallel, eliminates silos and mitigates multi-system dependencies.
